No Spamming Guidelines:

Spam is unsolicited e-mail.

Well on a social network you might say that anyone networking is agreeing to get e-mail. Well that is true to an extent, you don't and can't accept e-mail from everybody and everywhere at all times. We have the ability to accept or reject certain sources of e-mails & alert. But we need to be careful and help to keep things under control.

Friends: Don't abuse your friends.
When you accept someone as a friend, you are agreeing to accept mail from them. Well friends, let's not abuse this. Please don't send invites and events many times a day. Even one a day may be a bit much, if you consider if I have 50 friends, one a day would be 50 e-mails a day, or 1500 e-mails per month. Be considerate.

We would like to use our friend contacts to actually network and talk to each other. Remember if you have friends that don't communicate or you are not interested in their invites and events you are welcome to delete them as friends. Your friends list will be a LOT more valuable if they are real friends, that you cultivate and maintain.

Replying to all:
If you receive an e-mail from a friend and you are one of 50 people on the list, you agree to receive that from your friend. Please do not reply to all because the other 49 people on that list did not agree to get e-mails from you. That is spam and is not allowed. Do your work, build your own friends list.

Advertising:
Please do not place your advertisements as posts:
** in other members forum discussions that they have started
** in other peoples groups that they started for certain purpose.
(if it is related to that subject, you may ask if the group owner would mind)
** as comments on other members pages
There are plenty of ways you can advertise and promote that will not be offensive and intrusive. Please see the TAB: Guidelines/advertising
