3. Time constraints but for those who I do become close to, I am a good friend, I don't judge people for their views. Good listener, with an open mind. I love to see life from others view point. Never locked into the thought, that I am right and there is no ay there could be another possibility

- All my Grands have passed. My Grandfather on my Moms side was Dr Theodore Lovelace. He was the first Black Doctor in Waterbury, Ct. Though he also practiced in Virginia I believe before moving up north. He was a MUCH respected and loved 'Family Doctor' in Waterbury, CT. My Grandmother, his wife, was Mrs Sara T. Lovelace:
{update & correction} My Mom was named after her. Coincidentally I was named after my grandfather Dr Lovelace [My name being Theodore & all. Proud of that of course.]) My grandmother Sara T Lovelace was an author and a High School Teacher (not a Principle as I had mentioned. I'll look into that. Couldn't verify it.). She taught High School English and French. Can you imagine way back then? That was quite an accomplishment.
My Dad worked in the Waterbury Brass Industry. Our claim to fame being brass production, making weapons during the Countries great Wars. Buttons for soldier uniforms. A majority of Americas' brass production came from Waterbury CT. Our city! :-) My Dad worked for one of the Brass production companies "Scovill and later Century Brass" for 20 some odd years before totally loosing his pension, because they went bancrupt.
Don't anyone depend on company for your retirement. Now we know that but back then companies were supposed to take care of you! But he never let that get him down. Always stayed positive.
My Parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2008!
My Dads Mom Mrs Mattie Harrison was so well known and liked in New Haven Ct...everbody loved Mattie!
My Mom, a department manager with Sears and Roebuck (the first Sears in Waterbury, Ct) was offered a key administrative position with Sears, but would have had to move to Chicago (work in the Sears tower) but she refused for the sake of her family. (Her passion is serving the Lord as one of Jehovahs Witnesses)
I have 3 brothers and sisters all still in CT.
Brother owns a studio/production company and record label, my sister has sung with Old school revival artists like The Platters and has performed at The Famous Apollo Theatre Amateur Night at The Apollo.
My other sister raised 3 girls (One special needs on her own as a single parent) and is doing quite well for herself. An incredible cook and interior decorator by hobby (either one could be a business or occupation for her) but is in the healthcare industry.
I only have one daughter, an honor student and a lover of art. She has been Ms Majorette of Ct for her age group (a modeling, baton twirling title), competed at The National Baton twirling Championships. Her first year in HighSchool she got a major role in a highschool play. She was one of only 3 or 4 people from the play to be nominated for The Greater Waterbury Area "Halo Award", and was the only one form the play with her partner for the award "Best Couple in a musical" to win the Halo Award that year.
Her brother is a very talented wrapper with a sense of sensibility and responsibility yet authentic, street wise and hip... I hope he makes it.
Uuuuuh, well I think I'll call it quits there.... ~~~ hmmm, will all of this fit on one page?
- What is your job?
- I work for a Logistics Company. Our main customer is Sun Microsystems, whom we are contractors for. We schedule delivery of computer parts to Engineers around the country for emergency delivery as quick as within 90 minutes. Where minutes of delay could mean millions of dollars, focus, knowledge and quick thinking and acting are essential.
MAN! I hate that job! They think you are computers too. But I learned a lot. Can't wait to go fulltime working for myself!!!!
- What is your business? Are you looking for customers? Partners?
- Overall, I consider myself "A Networker."
I meet people and help them to build their own networks by helping others with their needs first. This is done through 2 networking systems: Life Networking and Business Networking. The first leading to the next.

MY Association I started is The World Black NetWorkers Association (WBNWA) ... which focuses on Life Networking with NO direct financial motivation, just helping black people to come together, work together, understand the vital importance of networking and how to do it effectively.

2. I am the founder of The WBNWA and MightyPeople. So y ou know I am committed to it's principles and systems. The big thing I could give is my vision and drive behind this networking movement. I do this not just for me but for US. I could share my focus and persistence, my desire. I give more than I get out of it because I want it to succeed as a source of spreading the theory of "giving first and networking" among the black community and I want to see you all succeed and be happy.
3. Fatherhood: I am a father whose there for his daughter. I have my shortcomings but I am there for her as we all should be BUT many are not. I have had many female and I have gotten to see from a male perpective what it is a lot of woman go through and how rediculous it is, the way 'some', not all, but definitely 'too many' of our black fathers act or maybe I should say don't act at all.
So I don't know what good that could be, but maybe I could talk to some wayward dads or something? Got any ideas?
4. I have read a lot of self help books. Not nearly as many as I should have or as often as I should read. But enough that I know their value. Want to know why they are so important or what type of books you should read or what I have read or am currently reading, just ask and we can talk.
5. I have been in many businesses. Maybe someone would like to know the pro's and cons or share some knowledge, without a one tract mind of 'join my business'.
6. I am currently working with a "Suite of companies" and can offer business and income opportunities and great diversification. I can show you who to decide on multiple streams of income and how to take advantage of different industries and different pay systems and different marketing techniques, different markets etc
7. I have a basic financial Services background and knowledge of Life Insurance and Investment ideas. Just ask.
8. I have overcome not being a people person. If anyone knows they need to work with people but just are not a people person THAT'S ME! I have overcome that though. Wanna talk?
